Welcome!

This isn't your typical blog. Rather, it's little more than a platform for the series of eleven polls you see on the right. The topic is Washington State's Superintendent of Public Instruction (SPI), Terry Bergeson, who is running for reelection.

ANYONE can participate in the polls. However, discussions are currently not allowed here.

You can find a parallel series of polls, along with discussions, here. However, you have to register with Opera before you can participate in the polls. In order to participate in the discussions, you further have to join the Terry Bergeson group. The group also features a blog.

On the right side of this page, above the polls, are links to some related websites.

Of course, Terry Bergeson is neither the only candidate nor the only issue in this race. Don't worry, I'm creating additional forums and polls that will cover the SPI campaign - and even the presidential campaign - in more detail.

No, I don't promote any of the polls, forums or blogs I've created as unbiased. However, they're no less biased than the crap the media write about this campaign - and they're also far more informative and allow far more feedback. Don't believe me? Fine, if you know of a newspaper that is doing a credible job of covering this race, I'd like to know about it. Please contact me.

I hope you find these polls enlightening. If I make it past the primary election, then I'll replace them with a new series of polls.

E pluribus unum,
David Blomstrom
